Preschool for children from 2.5 to 4 years old, with a modern educational programme, creative activities every day and a safe, warm environment that helps every child build independence and confidence.
At our Preschool, learning becomes an everyday experience. Through pre-writing, early maths concepts, art, drama play, STEM and music movement, children observe, experiment, create and work together.
The programme is designed for children aged 2.5 to 4 and adapts to their stage of development. Our aim is to nurture imagination, language, fine and gross motor skills, sociability and independence in every child, within a warm and supportive environment.
Every child joins the Preschool gradually, with patience and respect for their own pace.
In the first days, the time they stay is adjusted to the child’s needs and increases step by step, until they feel safe and at home with the space, the teachers and the daily routine of the school.
At the same time, we keep in steady contact with the family, so that the move into the school environment is as calm and positive as possible.
Our Preschool serves three meals a day: breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. All of them are prepared in the school kitchen by our own cook, with fresh, carefully chosen ingredients.
The programme is based on the Mediterranean diet, contains no added sugar and is reviewed and signed off by a paediatrician. The annual meal programme is published on the online platform for parents.
In the case of an allergy, an intolerance or a documented medical matter, the necessary adjustments are made, provided the school has been informed in good time and in the proper way.
Our Preschools in Elefsina and Aspropyrgos are housed in buildings we own, with yards, and have modern classrooms, rooms for sleep and children’s toilets specially arranged for their age.
Every site has organised safety measures: secured doors and stairs, protectors on sockets and corners, organised fire safety and regular disinfection.
Every group is staffed by a lead early years teacher and a teaching assistant, so that children have familiar faces and continuous support every day.
After enrolment, parents receive personal access to the school’s online platform, where they are kept informed in detail about meals, activities, participation and their child’s day as a whole.
In addition, a scheduled parents’ meeting takes place every three months, along with a written assessment by the group’s lead teacher.
A paediatrician visits our Preschool once a month, and once enrolment is complete parents fill in a detailed medical history form.
This way the school knows in good time about any allergies, intolerances, medication or other particular needs.
Basic medication is given only with the parent’s prior written consent. We also follow the health regulations in force and the required procedures for protecting the children and the school community.
«To Spitaki tis Sokolatas» has been open since 1994, with more than 30 years of experience in early years education.

At the end of each school year we hold the Preschool’s summer show, together with the graduation ceremony for the children who are completing their time with us.

Enrolment at our Preschool is open throughout the year, subject to availability. Both of our sites, in Elefsina and Aspropyrgos, accept ESPA (EU-funded) vouchers.
School bus transport is also available, on set routes and by arrangement with the school.
Tours of our spaces are arranged by telephone appointment only.

Our schools are closed from 23 December to 2 January, from Holy Thursday to Easter Tuesday, on official public holidays and on the feast day of the patron saint of the town where each school is based.
After enrolment, parents complete a detailed medical history form for the child.

Without any exaggeration I can say it is the best school in every respect, at least in Attica! It is one of very few places where the dedication to the child and to the parent alike is beyond question, with the protection and the development of the pupils as its aim. The genuine love for children shown by the management could stand as an example for any kind of educational institution.
Εξαιρετικό σχολείο με καταπληκτικούς εκπαιδευτικούς και μεγάλο επαγγελματισμό. Η ποιότητα της εκπαίδευσης είναι πραγματικά αξιοσημείωτη όπως και το ενδιαφέρον για κάθε παιδί ξεχωριστά. Το καλύτερο σχολείο από όλες τις απόψεις τουλάχιστον στην Αττική μπορώ να πω χωρίς καμία υπερβολή ! Ένα υπέροχο περιβάλλον για τα μικρά μας αγγελούδια.
